 Back in January I posted about the double hourglass pattern that I found on the blog "Cluck Cluck Sew." It was such a fun and easy pattern to put together.  I had the top blocks done in a couple of days.  

Originally, I was going to give this quilt away.  But I fell in love with it and knew just where it belongs, on my couch.


For the backing I used up the scrap pieces to create this fun strip of blocks.

I quilted this all by myself. (This is the biggest quilt that I've machine quilted.) I quilted in diagonal lines from left to right about 1/4 inch away from the seams.  It was really easy to quilt and I'm sure I'll be doing it again.
